After completing the internship period, the candidate participating in the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme 2024 will be given ₹ 6000 as a one-time assistance for contingency expenses. Apart from this, insurance under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, the premium will be borne by the government as coverage to the candidate.

What is PM Internship Scheme 2024

This scheme has been created by the Prime Minister of the country to provide employment to educated unemployed youth in the country. PM Internship Scheme 2024: Eligibility

• Candidates applying to participate in this internship should have completed their higher secondary education (10+2).
• Along with this, they should have an ITI certificate, diploma from a polytechnic institute, or a degree like BA, BSc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, or B.Pharma.
• The age of the candidates applying should be between 21 to 24 years as on the last date of application.
• If a candidate is involved in an online or distance learning program, then he can also participate in this scheme.

Companies are selected for this program on the basis of the CSR funds spent by them in the last three years. Companies, banks and financial institutions can also be included in this if the ministry approves them.
